Long time comin'

That it has been my dear deviantART account.
Recently I've been put on a staff team for a virtual pet site, otherwise known as Kingdom Sky. Quite a bit of my time has gone into the site for awhile before I put in the app. Now I'm a Moderator and it feels amazingly wonderful to be working behind the scenes in what makes the site fantastic aside from its community.
I have also been working a lot on my anatomy for quite a few animals. A few sketch attempts at human which have either been stopped or just flopped all together. I didn't really get anything done during Spring Semester... that.... was stressful all on its own.
As of now I am working on posting new things, hoping to eventually update and re-draw a lot of the old crap I have up here because face it.... it all looks like crap. The joys of improvement.
Writing comes and goes but lately I haven't had enough thought process to do more short stories except what small bits I have been doing with a group of people on Kingdom Sky for a role-playing thread.
Anyway, I guess this post was mostly a, 'hey, I'm not dead I promise!' kind, type of deal-o.
Also, those that peek occasionally from Kingdom Sky, I have yet to send in a mail as there is a huge summer project I want to do which will require more researching patterns and such for something I wanna do. Those that have seen the sketch designs are psyched as am I.
Or I just may say screw everything and work on a Harley Quinn insurgeon outfit (Injustice) for Halloween. NEVER TOO OLD TO TRICK-OR-TREAT. LET NO ONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE!

Spring Semester and News, blah

So... best part is. I finally have a working scanner/printer that works with my Mac, which only took me since Christmas to hook up like a dork lol. Although Spring Semester has started and I have a full schedule, getting in some art time is not a big issue for once.
What's the deal with so many classes turning into Online/Hybrid crap? NOT HAPPY
Anyway, lots of silly doodles of Krisella and wolves, tried out a different way of shading and I have grown severely attached to it already.
More writing will be posted soon as I am able to flesh out a few more major details before going in-depth.
Construction will be over soon, woohoo! \o/

Delay in Posting anything... Joy!

Quite literally.
I love the fact that now I have a computer that I could just put in a case and into my bag, abuse the fact the campus as wi-fi, but guess what.... hardly anything works on it right now for me to do much of posting ANY art. ArtRage studio doesn't let me change formats because Apple is weird with their macs but I am loving the heck out of my tablet.
So.... the coming week I am having to research a few things that I've had been advised to do so I can run Windows on this thing, so hopefully Photoshop will work again lol! Manga Studio works but I literally change all the formats in PS.
If anything a lot of my writing will be posted within a few more hours, raining today and no class.
Wait, scratch all of that, mostly.
I just remembered I need to start working on my Final for Art Class. Crap.
Individual projects, woo!
Something will get posted, I promise lol!

Undergoing some Construction!

As of recently I've been trying to get active again. Art wise and watcher wise...
So without further ado I will be changing around a lot of things and updating a lot of old drawings to make them better as there has been some serious improvement and organization needs.
YES I AM HIGHLY OCD ABOUT A LOT OF THINGS! So don't even ask because I know who will ):< (that face right there... to the left that has the grumpy face look.... he's watching you. Yes you, deal with it).
A lot of writing has been done as well, along with the need to revamp some of what I am ashamed that I have even posted, ugh.
Change of layout, ID, Avatar, and will probably learn a few other things.
Just a change of season is all for me it seems.
Anyway, keep up the amazing work guys! I've been so impressed with everyone's improvement, progression, and detailing!

Hurricane Sandy and the East Coast

So, here.... We are suppose to get the initial hit of Sandy coming off the coast and onto land. No immediate evacuation so far but everyone else up North is (loling at DC in a panic state of mode). So if it is anything like the last hurricane we had last year I am expecting to be without power for a week again, maybe a little longer. Wind and rain should happen tonight and the rest should happen tomorrow night, suspected to be a five day long storm but most of everything is still unpredictable. Phone, both ds's are fully charged, car has a full tank of gas, soups, crackers, water, blankets, bag of clothing just in-case we do evacuate-- Bring it! Well, not yet, I still have to move Mr. Omnoms (male Betta fish) into a traveling tank and the hermit crabs into the car .__.
We're all hoping it isn't as bad as it looks but if it is... well... yeah. Guess it'll give us a chance to remodel the kitchen!
Well... this kinda puts a hole in my plans of actually posting what art I've all done since the Fall Semester started. I've found out oil pastels and charcoal are my favorite mediums.
I do apologize for not being active art-wise and I will try to post more of what all I've done.
